Scott, has been involved in Prison Ministries since 1996. He ministered at the North Central Unit at Calico Rock, AR with the First Assembly of God, Mountain Home Prison Ministry. When he became a Chaplain he did his training at the North Central Unit for 4 months and was then transferred to the Wrightsville Unit where he was co-chaplian for 2 1/2 years. He was then transferred back to the North Central Unit as a co-chaplain in May of 2005 until March 2009. He then became the Assistant National Director of Prison Ministries at Global University. Scott has been a youth pastor, visitation minister, ministered in nursing homes and pastored three churchs in the past 24 years. Scott is originally from California and has lived in Arkansas since 1972. Scott likes to golf and fish when he has time and also the family likes to go camping by the local lake. Sheryl, was born in Pella, IA (place where Pella Windows are made) a Dutch community. She is 100% Dutch. She moved to Arkansas in 1978 where she met Scott and they were married on July 27, 1979. She is very helpful in their Prison ministry. She does all the paper work, newsletters, letters, website, etc. for their ministry. She has previously worked in two different churchs as a church secretary. She is also still busy raising their youngest son Jared. She sells Avon & Celebrating Home (previously Home Interiors) on the side. She also likes to scrapbook, make quilt tops and work in the yard with flowers and gardening. |

Surprise Home Makeover Results in Tears and Cheers
Several years ago, Ed and Leah Bass purchased a home in Alvarado, Texas. It was a fixer-upper, but the couple was determined to turn the desperately needy house into their dream home. Step by step, they started to repair and rebuild the house. Last July, the couple went to pick out new paint colors and items for the house, dreaming of what was to be.

New Chi Alpha Scholarship Awarded by Regent
Regent University School of Law recently announced that Leanne Watrous, a member of the University of Virginia Chi Alpha ministry, has been awarded the first Regent Law Chi Alpha Scholarship.
